In 2010, the La Maestra Foundation (LMF) opened the “I Choose Recovery” (ICR) program. ICR provides supportive and affordable transitional housing for men in recovery from substance abuse who are looking for a fresh start and a safe, structured, and clean living environment. ICR is designed to be much more than just a clean living home, with a variety of resources as the foundation for change in all aspects of life.
